hey guys, im not really sure how active this forum is nowadays, but i think asking you is worth a try. i wanted to do a little ql video with all the possibilties wolfcam offers. atm im still reading/testing myself into wolfcam (version 11.0 test 11 because of the dm_91 demo files) and q3mme. now there are 2 things i just cant figure out: 1. i downloaded some fx files i found on this forum and on esr (big thanks for sharing them) and i altered some of them (e.g. i used renks rockets but only used the smoke tail, then mixed it up with some impact particles from another fx file). however, when i load the fx file everytime someone shoots a rocket the muzzle flash is blue for a split second so it looks like this: www.dropbox.com/s/bacvlafar9ospc2/blue-rox.jpg?dl=0also, i wanted all weapon scripts to be in one .fx file. as it doesnt work for all weapons, i was wondering if thats even possible or if some parts are being overwritten (as far as i remember i used centauros rocket particles and renks bfg particles when the the they hit the wall, but in the end only the rocket particles are flying around). here is the .fx file: www.dropbox.com/s/m8sudu1b7hi5pcw/guns.fx?dl=12. for some reason the weapon the player carries shows up semi transparent, but only in freecamming (just like cg_drawguns 3). any idea how to fix this? www.dropbox.com/s/ddkaetaib3sekvz/trans_weap.jpg?dl=0big thanks in advance.

EDIT: it seems like the transparent weapon bug only occurs in race demos, not in pqlca demos (which i used for team tricks).

Hey baL, I check the forum every day to help people out but it seems nowadays that I cannot help people anymore. Also I have never used Wolfcam. Don't know how to do anything in fx. Get in contact with the fx pros. Here over private message to the people who posted their fx or in #moviemaking @ QuakeNet on IRC. Good luck!

if anyone gets the same problem with the transparent guns and finds this topic: the solution is cg_racePlayerShader 0
