Hi fellas, i got a nice trickjump demo on q3dm19 and since it has got such an ugly black sky, i thought i green that one out and put something nice in place. I tried the "mme_skykey" command, but nothing happened... First i thought it was a bug, but then i remembered reading somewhere that in the id maps, the black sky is actually black because there is no skybox at all. And so i think the skykey command interacts with the skybox and that's the reason why it's not working in this case. Is there any solution to this problem? Auri created a very nice skybox for q3dm17, but i think to do something like this, you got to have some knowledge in working with a map editing program like q3radiant. Unfortunately, i never worked with such a program. So, if there is no solution in mme, i kindly ask you guys: Is there anyone, who could help me by adding a skybox to q3dm19? It has to be nothing special, anything will do. Just for being able to greeen it out... Any help is much appreciated!

A friend who knows how to use q3radiant created a dm17 version for me which had a skybox. I did the rest with different skyboxes.
I don't have a version of dm19. I am asking him but I don't think he will have one of such a never played map.

Thanks Auri! I don't think he's got a skyboxed version of dm19. As you said, nobody plays this map (for a reason... ). It's just that one trickjump i've done on this map, that i want to include in my movie. And since i never used the radiant, i dunno how much effort it takes to create a simple skybox for a map. I already decompiled the bsp file, but i can't figure out how to add the sky... might take only a few minutes for someone who knows radiant inside-out. Unfortunately i don't know where to ask for help, so i tried my luck here Thanks anyway!!!

I used that program for two weeks only. Maybe you just create a big box around the map, then go to properties and tick Skybox or not. You can or even have to change the skybox textures after that, with shaders.
