Hi! Since I'm new here, the first thing: hugs for everyone. Guys, I really need your help ._. After years of cs fragmovie making, I decided to try to make a defrag movie. I successfully got the tricks I needed and I'm ready to capture everything. Everything's fine, I learnt how to use mme(?). But, I have problems with my quality :\ Ok, my renders: www.kalapur.extra.hu/escendo2.wmvwww.fatero.hu/laci/escendo3.wmvwww.kalapur.extra.hu/escendo4.wmvwww.kalapur.extra.hu/escendo5.wmvwww.kalapur.extra.hu/escendo6.wmvEvery render has decreased mme_blurframes (from 12 to 2). The first render was capped with 1024x576 @ 150 fps. Everyone said that too much blur, so I decreased it in the next renders. In the last render I capped the footage with 1280x720 @ 200 fps, with zero blur and in the final render I used 40 fps. I don't know... somehow all my renders sucks (I think). Well, I would like to achieve the same quality as we could see in Rocket Science. Can someone tell me the right options? (for ie.: how many fps should I use when capturing the footage, the amount of mme_blurframe [maybe more options about blur], what resolution shoud I use and how to do the final render?) By the way, I don't want to release my movie in wmv, it's just easier to render asap. Greetings Sapek

Well, escendo 5 seemed pretty cool to me. Which program do you work with? In Vegas, when you click right button on the video part, then choose properties and there's a thing called smart resample or something like this. Tick it off. Or try not to have such fast cameras, focus with camera on one point (at least same distance). But as I told, it seems pretty nice to me.

Thanks for the reply. I tried what you said with different fps, but looked too weird. Anyway, at last I capped my content with Auri's config, and it's pretty cool now in my opinon. Here's a sample: www.laccview.extra.hu/escendo30.wmv

i cant see any quality issues with your 30.wmv except that it is wmv. i strongly discourage you to use wmv, instead go for a nicely packed x264 or xvid avi or mp4.

Yes, that I'm satisfied with that result, I may try higher fps later. By the way, I won't release anything quake related in wmv, it's just easier to render to wmv instatly from vegas, instead of rendering twice
