So, i just started editing a video as a test, and when i'm done i go to watch it, but then i see that all the players are dissapearing for a short period of time, and this will ruin the whole video i'm working with, because i have absolutely no idea why this is happening. So then, as always, i turn to more experienced people like you guys here =). Take a look at the vid here: www.myvideo.de/watch/6023189/q3mme_ProblemWhy is this happening, and how can i fix this problem? It's very important that i sort this out, and all answers which are meant to help are very appreciated. Thanks /Onknown

FAQ says: Note: Not all data of all players and objects is saved all the time (only in multiview demos and serverside demos you have that). Whenever a player's current data is not found it will switch back to the player's first person which recorded the demo.
Means, if a player's data is not saved in the demo, the player will disappear. That happens like if you are on a ctf map on one flag point. Then the players all across the map on the other flag point are not saved in the demo, if you cannot see or hear them.
No way to fix that

Oh no, can't be... So there is no way to go around this problem? Because this will ruin everything damn it =/. And what exactly do you mean with multiview and serverside demos?

Those are demos recorded by the server itself, the host maybe. Of course the server knows all data and saves it then. Each player only saves all data that he sees. Errr hard to explain.
I guess this is to prevent too big demos. Players on the other side of the map are useless for you if you cannot see or hear them so they are not stored in the demos either. You cannot get that data back. You could just fake the data if you really need it. Just do something similar.
Or is somebody in a frag of yours disappearing in the middle of action?

I will try making another player/s record too, and then merge the demos together, so i will be able to hear all players and everyone will be visible =).
Thanks for your help.

if u can't see or hear a certain player - sever will not even send you info about him, so u cannot record it to demo seems like you viewing demo that was recorded by a guy in front of this 'army' try to view demo of guy somewhere in middle
