Hey friends, I'm posting this here because you're fellow movie makers. Although my style is a bit different than your own. I started with Machinima from 1998-2001 and moved to pre-rendered. I've been working the past year on a project called "Arenas: The Episodes". It's a episodic animated series that brings together the world of Quake III Arena and Doom. We went live with the Youtube Channel in HD today and the first 4 Episodes are available. Episode 5 will be this month and Episode 6 will be online by July. Pleaes leave us some feedback! I've been doing Quake Fan Cinema since 1998 and this new project is my baby! Hope you enjoy! www.youtube.com/DirectorGossEpisode 1: Doom's Deathmatch Birth Episode 2: Never Back Down Episode 3: Slipgate Warriors Part 1 Episode 4: Slipgate Warriors Part 2 Coming Soon: Episode 5: Chosen by the Vadrigar Coming in July: Episode 6: Xearo's Lair

Hello there, I am very impressed, I loved watching it all. Creative and entertaining shorts Do you do that for free? It must take ages to do all the modelling and movement. John

I'm blown away. You did a really good job.
Did you remodelled/animated all the maps and models yourself?

It's the 9 minute doom pre-story before the Arena Episodes. As far as the other character models, they were done by our group yes. You can check the credits.

Thank you so much for coming back and keeping us informed. I will instantly watch it!
Done. Not bad. I like that you mention defrag in your series. I think the talking part was too long. Would have been fine in a longer movie but for 5 minutes, it is too long to give 2 minutes only description and introduction. Well probably the action scenes were much harder to animate though. I loved the thing with the trap, the things that squish you. Great animation and camera run.
Did not like the sound so much. I found that Doom's voice was kind of playing to be evil but it sounded forced and the speaker's original voice just doesn't sound like that. Shouldn't have to be that evil I think. Just original voice would be fine. And the sound clipped a bit here and there. Apart from that, great movie buddy.
Very nice. I am impressed. John
