I cant get it to work ;(
It seems a piece of cake but when I type into the console '/clientoverride [client_number) hide 1' the client's model is still perfectly visible.
Am I doing anything wrong?

Try "/clientoverride list" to find out if you really use the right player key. And if you try the command: Look for other players hidden maybe. Also it might not work if you use some crazy netcode mode that mme cannot work with.

Well, it's standard CPMA and other override options work. I'll see if other players disappear though OK, here's what I've been able to observe: I played "dsctmp" demo (which presumably was recorded in pure baseq3) and the player disappears nicely but I've tried it with CPMA demos (both re-recorded with q3sdc and normal full-length) and it doesn't work. Nor does it work if I re-record the CPMA demo in q3sdc in baseq3 mode. It's a pitty. Maybe cannabis will know something that might help.
