Hy everyone!
I want to capture my screenshots in tga format,but mme always captures in jpg even if I set the command mme_sreenshotformat to "tga".If I use demolist capturing,I always get jpg files.Does anybody know why?

Yes,I know,but I don't want to capture in-game.I want to use demolist capturing.

I don't know, maybe you redefine the cvar later on in some config?
Try putting that setting somewhere in the end of any config or when you run the batch file for your demolist capturing, add this to the executing line: "+ set mme_screenshotformat "tga"

Thats Exactly what I did ;D.And it still captures in jpg format!  Also,I tried older versions,but they couldn't' stand fei's hardcore cfg any more;D. BTW,I changed only the con_notifyTime command(because I didn't remember that) in the cfg itself,everything else I changed in mme. |

Reinstallation might help, I don't know. Don't know why it should anyway but users have been mentioning that as the solution for some issues before.
I don't know any other solution. Triple check everything that gets loaded into mme. CTRL+F your mme folder and put "jpg" into the field where it says "look for following text in files...". That shows you all configs with jpg anywhere in it.

I also tried reinstalling,but didn't help.I did a search for the word jpg but it only found the cvarlist.txt and jpg-pictures.
Anyway,is there any difference in quality between jg and tga pictures?

Yes, there is but it should not be an issue if you set the jpg quality to 100. In that case this "bug" will only save you disc space.

Yehaaaaaaaaa,problem solved! XD
The main thing was that I had to save /mme_screenshotFormat "tga" in the project file(as one of the mov_captureCvars), not just starting up mme and writing down the command. It took me a while to find mov_captureCvars,but than I rad the Tutorial again and realized that I must create the prj file and then set the command,and save again.LOL,I'm so noobXD
Anyway,I'm learning now how to use video codecs,not working on any movie since I have no demos.Thanks for the feedbacks!
