Hey guys. Something strange occured. I've set basic no-world-just-players cameras, but it looks like, that some settings are interfering with my idea simply with the fact, that some kind of unexpected DoF has appeared. Well, example would be much better, so look at this: rapidshare.com/files/348900094/00000001.avi.htmlSettings are mme_drawworld 0, mme_skykey 2, mme_savedepth 0. Why aren't the players visible all the time? P.S.: Sorry for rapidshare.

Perhaps you should set both mme_depthfocus and mme_depthrange to 0. Just a guess though.

How did you get those player shadows?!?!?!?! The graphics look better than normal Q3 for some reason.
Also where did you get those player models?

Whahaha, I have not seen that before. The cvar z_near makes things close to the camera disappear. Check if you have that on 0.1 as it should be in mme. But probably that has nothing to do with it as things fade out the further they are from the camera : D Are the players moving into walls while just standing around? Looks funny to me. And it works without greenscreening?

@auri: did you mean r_znear? Had it 4, 0.1 makes same effect. I've tried depthfocus/depthrange 0 and also 100000, both with same result. With r_drawworld 1 (not mme_drawworld, my mistake) it works good. Look: i47.tinypic.com/2ewekyf.jpgi48.tinypic.com/2zt9gmq.jpgI am really confused about this. :-) @techno: It's mixed up config of my own, made from auri's, robo_kills and few others. :-) The cvar you're looking for is cg_shadows "3", I think. I am not sure, since I was browsing through some forums and just found it and added it into my cfg. Model is tankjr/model9, someone sent it to me a while ago, so ask Mr. Google. :-)

The shadows make it look weird and creepy, reminds me only of the Quake 3 demo. Movies with anything else than cg_shadows "1" look weird

With r_drawworld 1 (not mme_drawworld, my mistake) it works good. I think that is the problem.. since mme 1.6x better to use "mme_worldshader"(cvarlist.txt) instead r_drawworld "1/0" ! In mme1.52 I had the same problem. But since I use 1.6x + mme_wordshader command to colorize the world the there aren't any problems, and I can still use depthfocus/range..

Ok, thank you a lot, it works perfectly. You saved me hell a lot of time...once again, thanks a lot. :-)
