So, I recorded some NTF games, and I want to watch them back, but since I'm having some trouble with my q3mme (crashing and stuff) I'm using wolfcam with protocol 68. I'm playing back the demo fine and everything, but the problem is the lg is missing a shader so its just a long black and white box -.- is there a fix for this or do I have to just deal with it? Any help is appreciated

This could likely be caused by a missing file (duh). Are you sure you have all the pak files required? Try loading up ql to ensure all the neccesary pk3's are downloaded.
If not, I can try and find the missing shader myself and give it to you to override the missing one. Can you:
a) Give me a screenshot of the error and; b) Give me a screenshot or copy the entire error message produced in the console (load wolfcam, then close and open up "wolfcam-ql/cgameboot.txt") It will read something like "ERROR: SHADER FOR SHADER NUM xxx. USING DEFAULT TEXTURE"
Shouldn't be too hard to fix, but this error really shouldn't happen if you have a fresh install of wolfcam and all the neccesary pk3 files.

Booring This is indeed your fx file including shaders that wolfcam cannot find. This means (and I can see from the screenshot) that you aren't exactly running default wolfcam! You need to open up your fx file and ctrl+f the missing shadername, for example lightningbolt4. Then delete the block that contains it (make sure you don't mess up the bracketing overall). Can you find "wolfcamql/stderr.txt" instead? As far as I can tell they do the same job, just printing out the console log. Fx files don't normally do anything about the lightning trail, but I imagine you will find something like: weapons/lightning/trail{ size 150 shader lightningbolt4 beam }
I would recommend you delete that entire block. Lightning style can then be changed using the "cg_lightningstyle [1,2,3,4]" cvar. The plasma1 error is caused by something similar, but don't delete the block this time. Again, you will find something like this: weapon/plasma/projectile { //The sprite for the plasma size 14 shader sprites/plasma1 sprite //Plasma flying sound loopSound "sound/weapons/plasma/lasfly.wav" }
Try renaming "plasma1" to "plasmaa". If that doesn't work, try changing from "sprites/plasma1" to "gfx/misc/iceball" For "deatheffect" I think you can safely delete the block again, but out of interest please copy it so I can see what it is. My bet is on it being inside "player/gibbed". You can try "cg_deathstyle [1,2,3,4]" I have a feeling the fx file you have is from someone else who had also customised their shaders. You could always just re-download wolfcam and use default fx...

im pretty sure it was kophers, and it was working up until then but ive got q3mme all set up now so its fine thanks for help, although i will try and fix the shaders later.
