Hi there,
In Q3MME, viewing a demo that switches map and/or same map with changed settings such as gametype and thus requiring a map restart to apply changes - Q3MME won't play the rest of the demo after these changes, it will instead freeze as if the recording has been stopped.
Is there away to get Q3MME to continue playing the demo? - Is there such software that would 'slice' the demo into respected individual demos to get 'multiple' games out of a single demo?.
Are there any options available?
Looking forward to some feedback, Cheers,

Heya,
as far as I remember mme splits the demo up automatically. Look into your mmedemos folder, there should be files named ...-1, ...-2 and so.
Kind of like that. One demo for each map.

Hi. I have implemented auto demo switching and it is weird it does not work. Could you send your demo for tests? But for now do what auri said: find .mme demos with number suffix at the end and open those via /demo cmd.

I have: - Put <demo>.dm_68 ( 1.8MB) into Q3MME/BaseQ3/Demos - Boot into MME, load <demo>.dm_68 - Exit MME, navigate to Q3MME/MME/MMEDemos - Yes I have <demo>.mme ( 296KB) & <demo>.1.mme ( 1KB) It appears to have split them, with some compression? - Boot into Q3MME, attempted to load both <demo>.mme & <demo>.1.mme but get "Couldn't Open Demos <file names> - I exited MME, and moved the two .MME files into the BaseQ3, wouldn't load either - I tried changing the new extensions to .dm_68 (from .mme), that didn't work either. Will keep trying, Cheers,

Try /mmeDemo command to open the *.1.mme demo. I will get home tomorrow and check your demos then.

I tried the /mmeDemo command with the split .MME files, for the first initial demo that is 296KB, it loaded and played fine (to the point the server reloads map with different settings), I loaded demo.1.mme (the 1KB file), it boots me back to menu saying "couldn't load map maps/.bsp" It's unlikely the demo file is stored within the 1KB .MME, as the whole game is 1.8MB - even if you take off 300KB for the warmup - the actual one game would be at least 1.5MB. EDIT:I just did a fresh recording of a local game, and changed the map and gametype multiple times (for testing) - put the demo into MME and it split the files, I then played the split .MME files using the /mmeDemo command. I think it's my demo recorded online that's the issue - as not even Q3 (IO 1.36) can play it " Delta from invalid frame (not supposed to happen!)." A shame really, two epic mid air frags in that one

I did not find where I can download the demo for tests.

Tested your demo. It is really broken. The 2nd part. But the auto starting the next demo works on my side (crashes though). Do you have mme_demoAutoNext 1? And mme_demoAutoQuit 0?
