Hey guys.
I'm sure there're similar threads like this one. I've searched high and low through this forum but unfortunately I couldn't exactly find what I need.
In short - I come from Excessiveplus mod. What I want to do is create a video of my gameplay. In the past(few years ago) I've used Bandicam and Vegas Pro 10 to record my demo and edit/compress it afterwards in order to post it on youtube. The results was this -->
I think it wasn't that bad, taking in consideration the 2 compression steps.
Anyway. I tried to do the same several days ago but the result was awful. I did the same -> started the demo and I tried to record it with fraps and bandicam. Huge drop in FPS, sound became mess... and this time I have SSD, compared to the HDD I had few years ago when I made the video posted above. I have no idea why. But it doesn't matter really, since after tons of googling, the most often suggestion and answer for my need was q3mme. And that's how I got here. I downloaded the latest version, put it in my Q3 folder.
Now, what do I need this time? I want to make a video out of a demo exactly as it is while I play it on my PC --> first person and on my config. Or in other words --> I want to achieve the same effect as I would record the playing demo with fraps/bandicam.
For this purpose, I put my cfg file into mme folder, I start the q3mme, exec my cfg.... and nothing happened. However, I found out what was wrong and now I'm able to run q3mme with my cfg.
Now. I can't seem to figure out what to do next. I play the demo. I assume since I don't want to make any changes at all, it should be quite simple just to record the demo with only few commands?
What I need is a short super-beginner guide on what to do here, like line of commands or so. I tried to find a beginner q3mme tutorial video but without success. If I get this going, I might do just that for anyone who's in my position in future
