You are trying to play back uncompressed frames (~360MB/s for FullHD@60fps), and such byterate is too high to process everything in sync. I bet this is the problem. So basically you face the hardware limit rather than software. Have you tried more modern ways to capture to have HQ video with not such a big byterate (thus low file size)?

Sounds good what ent said. To see if it syncs up you can compress it and then play the video in real-time. Something smaller that your computer can handle in real time. If there will still be a sync problem, let us know.

Well I've managed to make it sync now using, virtual dub but the moment I take it through to Vegas and encode it for a final time using I think it's x264 codex ( sorry on mobile) the sound sync falls apart again.

Again: are you trying to watch the uncompressed version in Vegas? You need to compress it first, then watch it to check if sync failed or not.

Does it fail to sync in the final video after encoding? Also I highly recommend to use modern capturing ways from the game: avi or mp4 instead of tga+wav.

No as I mentioned when I re-encode it in vegas for the 2nd time the audio and video goes out of sync this these are the settings I use for this codec I test now with one of the stock standard codecs that come with Vegas and the sound wasn't a problem then here is the codec that I use and settings in vegas imgur.com/pv3cACgThanks Edit: the no was a response to auri, I checked now I used lagarith lossless codec to encode from virtual dub tga to avi. The audio sync fails at final encoding, in vegas. Then from there I use the codec that I attached in the link, how would I capture it to avi or mp4 with sound from the game directly without quality loss?

Just an update it looks like the actual codec I'm using that was posted in previous link is causing the problem even if I use a modern way of capturing from q3mme, it still fails on using that codec anyone have an alternative I could use or try that maybe won't cause this issue?

Google that issue related to Sony Vegas. Use another codec. Render video and audio separately and mux them afterward.

Thanks for the advice everyone i Couldn't find anyone have the same issue, so what I I'm gonna do is encode the the project when it's done using lathargic lossless codec then use another converter to bring down the size for the final encode, not sure if it's the way but seems to be fine from what I've tested.
