lets post some scripts
rocket and grenade explosion with particle: 1.create "zzz_recket_boom.fx" in mme script folder 2.past that in file

3.save and run mme 4. see explosions of RL and GR.
maybe somebody post script too, I search script for nice rocket trail and player trail...

I like the black smoke a lot and that there are sparks when the railgun hits. Neat

Thanks rEnk and deadok! For the promos i already have the configs/pk3s, but for the final movie i want to custom all them up!! I'm pretty sure this will help a lot. Agree auri, black smoke owns r3nk! p.s. (off the record) there is no movie, i'm wining a few bucks for each year that i talk about it

The rail isn't showing for me. It should the impact but not the beam. How can i make it show my original rail but custom impact?

technologic: yep! for the rail you need this pk3 too. it should contain all the textures and the shader what needed to my raileffect...(sorry I forget to mention it because I write the rail scripts some months ago..) rapidshare.com/files/398724728/zzz.raileffect.pk3.htmlTANIA: I'm glad if you like the black hardcore smoke:) the only bad thing about that is when you use it on space maps with black sky box like dm17 or ctf4 p.s. pls write my nick with E insted of the number 3

ok r8nk, i would suggest to give black skybox maps a skybox anyway, just black does not really look good. I got some map skins HERE but I think not all of them are looking perfectly finished

woah!! that movie was pretty entertaining!! i love the the quality, your mme FX-s+, the cameras, the music++, the synch+++ and the content of course! a new way to show cpma fragging.. The only bad thing for me about it is I got a pack of awesome demos from 'xanooch' with the same frags from phil and sbs and maybe 1-2 other people demos what u used in Tc2.. but that is not a problem!! there are other good frags for me to finish my movie one day so this movie definitely stays on my hard drive for a while!!

Is there a tutorial somewhere for scripting? I know there's one here from like an irc chat, but it's too hard to follow. Someone needs to make a clean organized one.

that i agree with someone should make it but someone that have done some amazing script like entik or rEnk cause they probley one of the best to make scripts so Entik Do you want to make one? or rEnk do you want to make one?

shhhh auri, the people are on a roll here! entik, after seeing your first movie i pointed a few things to correct on the next movie. And they were corrected on the second movie I would say that you double worked on sync and the final result was very enjoyable. Also i liked the small details like getting the quad recam etcs.. hope you have a number 3 because cpm frags are the most fast/skilled

As i see it, the q3dm17 was recomipled to use those files? I have radiant etcs, but i believe i need the original map file to recompile...

It's not so easy. Have to get the original mapfiles using q3map2 I believe. Then even have to put in a skybox which you can skin as you like when it's done. I cannot do that, I could ask my friend Bunny-Burning who did it for those 3 maps but I believe he will be too lazy Maybe I can get him to tell me how to do it, then I will tell you.

Ok, then i'll ask you do do that task please! It is important for me because i play DM on all default maps and having all space maps with that sky will give a pretty nice eyecandy. And i want to give all the eyecandy the eye can get It can be exactly the same skyes for all. If it gives too much work to bunny, tell him to teach because i don't mind making those skies Just need to know how. If you learn and if it doesn't give you much extra work, i'll apreciatte it too! Advice is:
Make the map editable somehow, probably by decompiling it with q3map2. Then use a mapping program like q3radiant to build a simple box around the whole map and put a skybox shader on it. Sounds easy, good luck.

Hi. Anybody knows, why in my q3mme 1.52 any changes of fx scripts have no effect? I tried to do it in latest q3mme 1.6, but there are strange engine, which don't know commands like "edit" or "+seek" (maybe it is my personal bug).

At the moment I'm at my hometown now and no mme at this computer but maybe tomorrow night or at least monday i can upload the scripts and rail stuff.. if someone doesn't upload them before me...
